Susannah Stonecypher was born on 15 August 1790 at Franklin County, Georgia.1 She was the daughter of John Stonecypher and Nancy Curtis.2,3
Susannah Stonecypher married William Nix, son of John Nix and Sarah Winters, on 3 September 1809 at Franklin County, Georgia.4,5
On 29 October 1850 Susannah Stonecypher was enumerated in the household of William Nix on the 1850 U. S. census for District 7, Habersham County, Georgia as Susannah Nix, 59 years old, birthplace of Georgia. Also enumerated in the household were Fannie Farlene Nix, Malinda Nix, William Carr Nix and A J Sutton.6
On 15 March 1852 Susannah Nixrecieved $770 from the estate of John Stonecypher.7
On 23 July 1860 Susannah Nix was enumerated in the household of William Nix on the 1860 U. S. census for Mount Yonah Post Office, White County, Georgia as Susan Nix, 70 years old, birthplace of Georgia. Could not read or write.8
Susannah Stonecypher died circa 1870 at White County, Georgia.1
