     Catherine Pitcher was born on 13 April 1821.1,2

Catherine Pitcher married Ethan Allen Flint, son of Alvah Flint and Elizabeth Cross, on 21 October 1845.1

On 19 July 1850 Catherine Pitcher was enumerated in the household of Ethan Allen Flint on the 1850 U. S. census for Town of Canajoharie, Montgomery County, New York as Catharine Flint, 28 years old.3

On 5 July 1860 Catherine Pitcher was enumerated in the household of Ethan Allen Flint on the 1860 U. S. census for Richland Township, Tama County, Iowa as C Flint, 38 years old, birthplace of New York. Also enumerated in the household were Alida Flint, Alice Flint, Benjamin Franklin Flint and Viona Flint.4

On 14 July 1870 Catherine Pitcher was enumerated in the household of Ethan Allen Flint on the 1870 U. S. census for Tama City Post Office, Richland Township, Tama County, Iowa as Catherine Flint, 48 years old, birthplace of New York, occupation of Keeping House. Also enumerated in the household were Benjamin Franklin Flint, Dorcas Flint and Edith May Flint.5

On 1 June 1880 Catherine Pitcher was enumerated in the household of Ethan Allen Flint on the 1880 U. S. census for Richland Township, Tama County, Iowa as Catherine Flint, 59 years old, Wife, Married, birthplace of New York, occupation of Keeping House. Father born in New B. Mother born in New B. Also enumerated in the household were Edith May Flint and Henry Bantz.6

On 4 June 1900 Catherine Flint was enumerated in the household of Ethan Allen Flint on the 1900 U. S. census for Richland Township, Tama County, Iowa as Catharine Flint, 79 years old, Mother, married for 54 years, gave birth to 9 children, number of children still living 5, Born Apr 1821 in New York. Father born in New York. Mother born in New York.7

Catherine Pitcher died on 15 January 1901 at age 79.1,2

Catherine Pitcher was buried at Haven Cemetery, Richland Township, Tama County, Iowa.2
