Dorcas Flint was born on 21 May 1861.1 She was the daughter of Ethan Allen Flint and Catherine Pitcher.1
On 14 July 1870 Dorcas Flint was enumerated in the household of Ethan Allen Flint on the 1870 U. S. census for Tama City Post Office, Richland Township, Tama County, Iowa as Dorcas Flint, 7 years old, birthplace of Iowa, occupation of At home. Attended school within the year. Also enumerated in the household were Catherine Pitcher, Benjamin Franklin Flint and Edith May Flint.2
Dorcas Flint married Charles H Wright on 10 May 1878 at the Residence of E A Flint, Tama County, Iowa.3
