     Alice Flint was born on 29 December 1852 at New York.1 She was the daughter of Ethan Allen Flint and Catherine Pitcher.1

On 5 July 1860 Alice Flint was enumerated in the household of Ethan Allen Flint on the 1860 U. S. census for Richland Township, Tama County, Iowa as A. E. Flint, 8 years old, birthplace of New York. Attended school within the year. Also enumerated in the household were Catherine Pitcher, Alida Flint, Benjamin Franklin Flint and Viona Flint.2

Alice Flint married Minard J Helmer on 7 March 1869 at Tama County, Iowa.3
