     William W Cook was born circa 1853 at Georgia.1 He was the son of Jonathan Cook and Rebecca Jackson.1

On 27 June 1860 William W Cook was enumerated in the household of Jonathan Cook on the 1860 U. S. census for Blairsville Ga Post Office, Union County, Georgia as William W Cook, 7 years old, birthplace of Georgia. Also enumerated in the household were Rebecca Jackson, Elvira Cook, Nancy E. Cook, John Kimsey Cook and Susan Jane Cook.1

On 15 June 1870 William W Cook was enumerated in the household of Jonathan Cook on the 1870 U. S. census for Blairsville Post Office, Subdivision 126, Union County, Georgia as William M Cook, 18 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farm Laborer. Attended school within the year. Also enumerated in the household were Rebecca Jackson and Martha A Cook.2
