On 27 June 1860 John Kimsey Cook was enumerated in the household of Jonathan Cook on the 1860 U. S. census for Blairsville Ga Post Office, Union County, Georgia as Jehu R? Cook, 12 years old, birthplace of Georgia. Also enumerated in the household were Rebecca Jackson, Elvira Cook, Nancy E. Cook, Susan Jane Cook and William W Cook.4

John Kimsey Cook died on 25 February 1910 at Union County, Georgia, at age 62.3
