     Harvy Alonzo Twiggs also went by the name of Bud.2 He was born on 1 June 1848 at Union County, Georgia.3,2 He was the son of Willis Twiggs and Margret England.2,4,1

On 25 October 1850 Harvy Alonzo Twiggs was enumerated in the household of Willis Twiggs on the 1850 U. S. census for 85th District, Union County, Georgia as Budey Twigs, 2 years old, birthplace of Georgia. Also enumerated in the household were Margret England, Mary Louise Twiggs, Elizabeth Jane Twiggs, Margaret Twiggs, Joice Minerva Ann Twiggs and John Wesley Twiggs.5

On 30 June 1860 Harvy Alonzo Twiggs was enumerated in the household of Willis Twiggs on the 1860 U. S. census for Choestoe Post Office, Union County, Georgia as Harvey Twiggs, 11 years old, birthplace of Georgia. Also enumerated in the household were Margret England, Elizabeth Jane Twiggs, Margaret Twiggs, Joice Minerva Ann Twiggs and John Wesley Twiggs.6

On 18 June 1870 Harvy Alonzo Twiggs was enumerated in the household of Willis Twiggs on the 1870 U. S. census for Blairsville Post Office, Subdivision 126, Union County, Georgia as Harvey W Twiggs, 22 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farm Laborer. Enumerated as 21 Year or older male citizen. Also enumerated in the household were Margret England and John Wesley Twiggs.7

Harvy Alonzo Twiggs married Elizabeth Johnson on 18 November 1870 at Union County, Georgia.8

Harvy Alonzo Twiggs was enumerated on 18 June 1900 as head of household on the 1900 U. S. census for Choestoe District, Union County, Georgia as Harvey A Twiggs, 51 years old, Head, married for 29 years, Born Jun 1848 in Georgia. Father born in North Carolina. Mother born in North Carolina.. Also enumerated in the household were Elizabeth Johnson, James W Twiggs, John M Twiggs, Naomi B Twiggs and Frank D Twiggs.9

Harvy Alonzo Twiggs was enumerated on 18 April 1910 as head of household on the 1910 U. S. census for G.M. 834 Choestoe, Union County, Georgia as Harvy A Twiggs, 63 years old, Head, Married 1st for 41 years, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farmer in the General Farm industry, working on own account. Could read. Could write. owned a Farm which was Free and Clear. Father born in South Carolina. Mother born in South Carolina.. Also enumerated in the household were Elizabeth Johnson and Frank D Twiggs.10

Harvy Alonzo Twiggs died on 6 March 1932 at Union County, Georgia, at age 83.11
