Elizabeth Carney married Mathew P Rector, son of (?) Rector and (?) (?), on 14 June 1829 at Montgomery County, New York.2

On 18 July 1850 Elizabeth Carney was enumerated in the household of Mathew P Rector on the 1850 U. S. census for Canajoharie, Montgomery County, New York as Elizabeth Rector, 41 years old, birthplace of New York. Also enumerated in the household were Barnabas Rector, Phebe Rector, Abigail E Rector and Silas Charles Rector.5

On 5 July 1860 Elizabeth Carney was enumerated in the household of Mathew P Rector on the 1860 U. S. census for Tama County, Iowa as E Rector, 51 years old, birthplace of New York.6

Elizabeth Carney on 24 February 1866 sold property located in Tama County, Iowa to Barnabas Rector for $5. The property described as the South East quarter of the North West quarter of Section thirty two (32) Township eighty two (82) North of Range Thierteen (13) West containg forty acres.7

Elizabeth Carney died on 15 July 1866.8,9
