Adam Gerhart was born circa 1859 at Ohio.1 He was the son of Jacob Gerhart and Maria Catherine Seyler.1

S. census for Lowell Post Office, Salem Township, Washington County, Ohio as Adam Gerhard, 1 years old, birthplace of Ohio. Also enumerated in the household were Maria Catherine Seyler, Catherine Gerhart, Daniel Gerhart, John Gerhart, Maria Gerhart and Rosina Gerhart.1
