     Francis Jasper Collins also went by the name of Bud.1 He was born on 30 January 1855 at Union County, Georgia.1 He was the son of Francis Collins and Rutha Nix.1

On 30 June 1860 Francis Jasper Collins was enumerated in the household of Francis Collins on the 1860 U. S. census for Choestoe Post Office, Union County, Georgia as Francis J Collins, 5 years old, birthplace of Georgia. Also enumerated in the household were Rutha Nix, Sarah Collins, Elizabeth Collins, William Dallas Collins, James R P Collins, Thompson Smith Collins, John Cathey Collins and Mary Ann Collins.2

On 15 June 1870 Francis Jasper Collins was enumerated in the household of Rutha Nix on the 1870 U. S. census for Union County, Georgia as Jasper F Collins, 14 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farm Laborer. Attended school within the year. Also enumerated in the household were James R P Collins, John Cathey Collins, Mary Ann Collins, Jane Malinda Collins, Achibald Benjamin Collins, Thompson Smith Collins and Susan Jane Cook.3

Francis Jasper Collins married Georgeanna Hunter on 30 January 1873.4

Francis Jasper Collins died on 17 December 1941 at age 86.4

Francis Jasper Collins was buried at New Choestoe Cemetery, Union County, Georgia.5
