Olive Collins was born on 12 May 1831 at Habersham County, Georgia.1 She was the daughter of Thompson Collins and Celia Self.1
On 21 October 1850 Olive Collins was enumerated in the household of Thompson Collins on the 1850 U. S. census for 85th District, Union County, Georgia as Oliver Collins, 18 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farmer. Also enumerated in the household were Celia Self, Nancy Collins, Ivan Kimsey Collins and Robert MCay.2
Olive Collins married Robert MCay circa 1852.3
Olive Collins died on 15 December 1853 at age 22.3
