On 4 October 1850 John C Moseley was enumerated in the household of Daniel Moseley on the 1850 U. S. census for District No 32, Franklin County, Georgia as John C. Mosley, 21 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farmer. Also enumerated in the household were Phoebe Moseley, James A Moseley, Samuel H Moseley, Nancy Moseley, Samuel Moseley and John Moseley.1
