S. census for Blairsville Ga Post Office, Blairsville, Union County, Georgia as Andrew Hughes, 8 years old. Attended school within the year. Also enumerated in the household were Nancy A Bird, William C. Hughes, Jane Hughes, Rosetta Hughes, Thomas Hughes, Sarah Elizabeth Hughes, John Hughes and Calley Hughes.2
On 7 June 1870 Andrew P Hughes was enumerated in the household of Thomas M Hughes on the 1870 U. S. census for Blairsville Post Office, Subdivision 126, Union County, Georgia as Andrew P Hughes, 17 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farm Laborer. Attended school within the year. Also enumerated in the household were Nancy A Bird, Sarah Elizabeth Hughes, John Hughes, Calley Hughes and Samuel Hughes.3
