     Samuel T Barnum Justice of Peace on 19 August 1818 witnessed the transfer of interest in property located in Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut by a quitclaim deed from Joshua B Bearss and Ruth B Knapp to Levi Knapp for $5. Described as all the Estate of widow Ruth Knapp of Danbury both real and personal lying in Danbury.2

Described as a certain piece of land in Danbury containg two acres. Bounded on the East in part by Paul Hamilton and in part by Thaddeus Hoyt's land, on the North by the Highway, on the west by Ruth Knapp's land and on the South by Paul Hamilton. Signed in New Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.1
