Susannah Nix was also known as Susie.1 She was born in 1837.1 She was the daughter of James Nix and Elizabeth Collins.1
On 25 October 1850 Susannah Nix was enumerated in the household of James Nix on the 1850 U. S. census for 85th District, Union County, Georgia as Susannah Nix, 13 years old, birthplace of Georgia. Attended school within the year. Also enumerated in the household were Elizabeth Collins, William Nix, Thompson Nix, John Nix, Archibald C Nix, James B Nix, Jasper Nix, Newton Nix, Thomas J Nix and Ivan Nix.2
