Precinct No. 4, Uvalde County, Texas as Nellie Lee, 6 years old, Daughter, Single, birthplace of Texas. Father born in Kentucky. Mother born in Tennessee. Also enumerated in the household were Nellie Hall Dennis, Mollie Emily Lee, John Dennis Lee, William Singleton Lee Jr., Barnett Hall Lee and Lillian R. Lee.2

28 June 1885 Nellie Jolethea Lee was enumerated with William Singleton Lee on the 1885 New Mexico Territory census for Organ, Dona Ana County as N J Lee, Dau, Single, 11 years old, birthplace of Texas. Also enumerated in the household were Nellie Hall Dennis, Riley R Lee, Mollie Emily Lee, John Dennis Lee, William Singleton Lee Jr., Barnett Hall Lee and Lillian R. Lee.3
