Daniel Gerhart was born circa 1851 at Ohio.1 He was the son of Jacob Gerhart and Catharine Zimmer.1

Also enumerated in the household were Catharine Zimmer, John Gerhart, Jacob Gerhart, Charels Gerhart, William Gerhart, Henry Gerhart, Christoph Gerhart and Sara C E Gerhart.1

S. census for Marietta Post Office, Marietta, Second Ward, Washington County, Ohio as Daniel Gearhart, 18 years old, birthplace of Ohio, occupation of at Home. Father was foreign born. Mother was foreign born. Also enumerated in the household were Catharine Zimmer, Henry Gerhart, Christoph Gerhart, Sara C E Gerhart, Edward Gerhart, Herman Gerhart and Flora Gerhart.2
