     Moses Smith was born circa 1800.1

Moses Smith married Frances Stonecypher, daughter of John Stonecypher and Nancy Curtis, say 1821.1

Moses Smith was enumerated on 29 November 1850 as head of household on the 1850 U. S. census for Subdivision No 45, Jackson County, Georgia as Moses Smith, 50 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farmer, value of real property $2500.. Also enumerated in the household were Frances Stonecypher, Mary Ann Smith, Malachi Smith, Elizabeth Smith, John H Smith, Sarah Ann Smith, Martha Ann Smith, Salina H Smith, Rebecca L Smith and Henry Kerby.1

On 18 February 1852 Moses Smithrecieved $520 from the estate of John Stonecypher.2
