     Elizabeth Stonecypher was born circa 1795 at Georgia.2 She was the daughter of John Stonecypher and Nancy Curtis.1

Elizabeth Stonecypher married James Smith say 1815.2

Elizabeth Stonecypher was enumerated during 1840 on the 1840 U. S. census for District 509, Rabun County, Georgia as head of family Elizabeth Smith. Enumerated in this family were: 1 Free white persons, males, at least 5 and under 10 years old, 1 Free white persons, males, at least 15 and under 20 years old, 1 Free white persons, females, at least 40 and under 50 years old, 3 Total Persons, 1 Persons employed in Argriculture.3

Elizabeth Stonecypher married Amos Hill on 28 January 1843 at Rabun County, Georgia.4

On 1 September 1850 Elizabeth Stonecypher was enumerated in the household of Amos Hill on the 1850 U. S. census for Militia District 509, Rabun County, Georgia as Elizabeth Hill, 55 years old, birthplace of Georgia. Also enumerated in the household were James A Smith.2

On 19 January 1852 Elizabeth Stonecypherrecieved $770 from the estate of John Stonecypher.1

On 25 July 1860 Elizabeth Stonecypher was enumerated in the household of James A Crow on the 1860 U. S. census for Clarksville Post Office, Habersham County, Georgia as Elizabeth Hill, 64 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Old Lady. Also enumerated in the household were Mary Smith, Benjamin S Crow, Margret Crow, Laura C Crow, Sarah Crow, James A Crow and Nancy C Crow.5
