     William Bale on 2 August 1857 witnessed the purchase of property located in Tama County, Iowa by Mathew P Rector from George Crittenden and Amelia Crittenden for $250. The property described as the South East 1/4 of the North West 1/4 of Section Thirty Two, Township Eighty Two, North of Range Thirteen West containing forty acres.2

William Bale on 25 September 1858 witnessed the purchase of property located in Tama County, Iowa by Jeduthan C Flint from Joseph C. Barrett for $500. The property described as the South East quarter of the North East quarter of section twenty nine in township eighty two north of Range fouteen west & containing by government survey forty acres and the North West quarter of North West quarter of section no twenty nine in township no eighty two of range no fourteen west containing 40 acres.3

William Bale on 25 September 1858 witnessed the purchase of property located in Tama County, Iowa by Jeduthan C Flint from Joseph C. Barrett for $200. The poperty described as Five acres on the East side of the North East 1/2 of the South East 1/4 of section Eleven (11) in Twp eighty two (82) North of Range no fourteen (14) West 10 acres. Also Lot no twelve 12 in the Marshall part of the Village of Eureka in Tama County Iowa.1
