     Betsy Benedict on 6 January 1802 witnessed the purchase of property located in Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut by Levi Knapp from Paul Hamilton for $25. Described as a certain piece of land in Danbury at Pembrook containg about half an acre. Bounded on the North by John Knapp's land, on the east by the Highway, on the South by Paul Hamilton's land. it was staked off being 8 rods wide at the Highway and comming to a point at the West. It was 21 rods through the middle from the Highway to the point.1
