Clinton Gilbert Gaylord was born on 9 October 1851 at Kendall County, Illinois.1 He was the son of Gilbert Gaylord and Mary Ann Cass.1
On 19 June 1860 Clinton Gilbert Gaylord was enumerated in the household of Gilbert Gaylord on the 1860 U. S. census for Aurora, Kane County, Illinois as Clinton G Gaylord, 8 years old, birthplace of Illinois. Also enumerated in the household were Mary Ann Cass, Charles Gaylord, Cass Gaylord and Chestina Gaylord.2
On 9 August 1870 Clinton Gilbert Gaylord was enumerated in the household of Gilbert Gaylord on the 1870 U. S. census for Oswego Township, Kendall County, Illinois as Clement Gaylord, 18 years old, birthplace of Illinios, occupation of Works on Farm. Also enumerated in the household were Mary Ann Cass and John Gaylord.3
Clinton Gilbert Gaylord died on 1 January 1914 at age 62.1
