Mary Ann Cass was born circa 1821 at Alexandria, Grafton County, New Hampshire.1 She was the daughter of Cyrus Cass and Mary Worthing.1
Mary Ann Cass married Gilbert Gaylord, son of Gilbert Gaylord and Catalina (?).
On 25 September 1850 Mary Ann Cass was enumerated in the household of Gilbert Gaylord on the 1850 U. S. census for Naausay, Kendall County, Illinois as Mary Ann Gaylord, 30 years old, birthplace of New Hampshire. Also enumerated in the household were Charles Gaylord, Cass Gaylord and Chestina Gaylord.2
On 19 June 1860 Mary Ann Cass was enumerated in the household of Gilbert Gaylord on the 1860 U. S. census for Aurora, Kane County, Illinois as Mary Ann Gaylord, 39 years old, birthplace of New Hampshire. Also enumerated in the household were Charles Gaylord, Cass Gaylord, Chestina Gaylord and Clinton Gilbert Gaylord.3
On 9 August 1870 Mary Ann Cass was enumerated in the household of Gilbert Gaylord on the 1870 U. S. census for Oswego Township, Kendall County, Illinois as Mary Gaylord, 49 years old, birthplace of New Hampshire, occupation of Keeping House. Also enumerated in the household were Clinton Gilbert Gaylord and John Gaylord.4
