     Nancy J Van Vickle was born circa 1844 at Indiana.1 She was the daughter of John Jeptha Van Vickle and Jane Camper.1

S. census for Parke County, Indiana as Nancy J Vanvickle, 6 years old, birthplace of Indiana Also enumerated in the household were Jane Camper, Catharine Van Vickle and Maria Van Vickle.2

On 29 June 1860 Nancy J Van Vickle was enumerated in the household of John Jeptha Van Vickle on the 1860 U. S. census for Wabash Township, Parke County, Indiana as Nancy J Vanvickle, 16 years old, birthplace of Indiana Also enumerated in the household were Jane Camper, Catharine Van Vickle, Maria Van Vickle, Thomas Van Vickle, Margaret Jane Van Vickle, John Van Vickle and Francis M Van Vickle.1
