On 29 June 1860 Jane Camper was enumerated in the household of John Jeptha Van Vickle on the 1860 U. S. census for Wabash Township, Parke County, Indiana as Jane Vanvickle, 38 years old, birthplace of Virginia. Also enumerated in the household were Nancy J Van Vickle, Catharine Van Vickle, Maria Van Vickle, Thomas Van Vickle, Margaret Jane Van Vickle, John Van Vickle and Francis M Van Vickle.2
