Sarah Anne Barrett was born circa 1839 at South Carolina.1 She was the daughter of George W Barrett and Nancy Green Treadaway.1
On 23 September 1850 Sarah Anne Barrett was enumerated in the household of George W Barrett on the 1850 U. S. census for The 848th District, Paulding County, Georgia as Sarah Ann Barrat, 11 years old, birthplace of South Carolina. Attended school within the year. Also enumerated in the household were Nancy Green Treadaway, Mary Jane Barrett, Emiline Barrett, John Barrett, Martha Barrett and George W Barrett.1
On 3 July 1860 Sarah Anne Barrett was enumerated in the household of George W Barrett on the 1860 U. S. census for Elyton Post Office, Woods Precinct, Jefferson County, Alabama as Sarah A Barret, 19 years old, birthplace of South Carolina. Also enumerated in the household were Nancy Green Treadaway, Emiline Barrett, John Barrett, Martha Barrett, George W Barrett, Aaron Hezekiah Barrett, Benjamin Barrett, David Barrett and Durel F Barrett.2
