     Charity Hall was born on 21 July 1804 at Barren County, Kentucky.1,2 She was the daughter of Leonard Hall Jr and Winifred Barnett.1

Charity Hall married Neal McCann Dennis, son of Joseph Dennis and Ann Nancy Bybee, on 1 January 1825 at Warren County, Tennessee.1

On 5 October 1850 Charity Hall was enumerated in the household of Neal McCann Dennis on the 1850 U. S. census for Milam and Williamson District, Milam County, Texas as Charity Dennis, 46 years old, birthplace of Kentucky. Also enumerated in the household were John J Dennis, Audly H Dennis, Joseph Dennis, George Dennis, Maria Dennis, Mary C Dennis, Amanda Dennis, Mildred Dennis, Livonia Dennis, Sempheonia Dennis, Neal Dennis and Winney Hall.3

Charity Hall died on 24 November 1888 at Temple, Bell County, Texas, at age 84.1,2

Charity Hall was buried at Hodge Cemetery, Temple, Bell County, Texas.2
