     Samuel Knapp was born between 1761 and 1763 at Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut.1 He was the son of John Knapp and Ruth Gregory.2,1

Samuel Knapp lived in 1811 at Harpersfield, Delaware County, New York.3

Samuel Knapp on 15 February 1811 gave interest in property located in Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut by a quitclaim deed to Levi Knapp [and R:rGrantee1] for $63. Described as a certain piece of land in Danbury at Pembrook containg about one and half acres. Bounded on the East by Levi Knapp's land, on the West by land set off to my Mother, Ruth Knapp as dower im my father's estate, on the South by Rith Knapp and John Knapp's land. It being the piece of land distributedd to Samuel Knapp out of the Estate of his father John Knapp.. Witnessed by Abigail Crocker and Joseph P Cooke.3

Samuel Knapp died on 2 April 1829.1
