     Isaac Nelson was born on 21 May 1821 at Morland, Westmorland, England.1 He was the son of Thomas Nelson and Elizabeth Thompson.1 Isaac Nelson was christened on 2 June 1821 at Morland, Westmorland.2

Isaac Nelson married Margaret Whistance, daughter of Edward Whistance and Mary Lewis, on 23 February 1854.1

Isaac Nelson was enumerated on 13 September 1860 as head of household on the 1860 U.
