     Sarah Stonecypher was born circa 1805 at Georgia.2 She was the daughter of John Stonecypher and Nancy Curtis.1

Sarah Stonecypher was enumerated on 1 August 1860 as head of household on the 1860 U. S. census for James Town Post Office, James Town Beat, Smith County, Texas as Sarah Waters, 55 years old, birthplace of Georgia, value of real property $400, value of personal property $400.. Also enumerated in the household were Lucy Waters, Harriet Waters and Columbus Waters.2
