     Benjamin Stonecypher was born circa 1786 at Georgia. In 1807 he was listed as owing a poll tax which ment he was atleat 21 years old in 1807 an therfore could not be born any later than 1786.2,3 He was the son of John Stonecypher and Nancy Curtis.1

In 1807 at Franklin County, Georgia, owed a poll tax.2

Benjamin Stonecypher married Elizabeth Collins on 18 December 1811.4

Benjamin Stonecypher was enumerated during 1830 on the 1830 U. S. census for Franklin County, Georgia as head of family Benjamin Stonecypher. Enumerated in this family were: 2 Free white males under 5 years old, 1 Free white males 5 to 10 years old, 2 Free white males 10 to 15 years old, 1 Free white males 20 to 30 years old, 1 Free white males 40 to 50 years old, 1 Free white females under 5 years old, 1 Free white females 5 to 10 years old, 1 Free white females 10 to 15 years old, 1 Free white females 15 to 20 years old, 1 Free white females 40 to 50 years old, 12 Total Persons.5

Benjamin Stonecypher was enumerated on 3 October 1850 as head of household on the 1850 U. S. census for District No 32, Franklin County, Georgia as Benjamin Stinecipher, 60 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farmer, value of real property $4000.. Also enumerated in the household were Elizabeth Collins and Mary Stonecypher.3

On 19 January 1852 Benjamin Stonecypherrecieved $600 from the estate of John Stonecypher.1

Benjamin Stonecypher was enumerated on 9 August 1860 as head of household on the 1860 U. S. census for Subdivision, Franklin County, Georgia as Benjamin Stonecypher, 73 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farmer, value of real property $1000, value of personal property $200.. Also enumerated in the household were Elizabeth Collins and Mary Stonecypher.6

Benjamin Stonecypher was enumerated on 29 July 1870 as head of household on the 1870 U. S. census for Carnesville Post Office, Subdivision No 57, Franklin County, Georgia as Benj Stonecyfer, 85 years old, birthplace of Georgia, occupation of Farmer, value of real property $300, value of personal property $150. Enumerated as 21 Year or older male citizen.. Also enumerated in the household were Elizabeth Collins, Mary Stonecypher, Emaline Collins and Elizabeth Collins.7
