     Adam Horning was born circa 1755.2 He was the son of Dieterich Horning and Maria Margaretha Kraus.1

Adam Horning was named as an executor of the will of Dieterich Horning on 22 May 1793 at Canajoharie, Montgomery County, New York.1

Adam Horning wrote a will on 3 March 1826 at Town of Johnston, Montgomery County, New York.
He bequeathed:
  • to son Abraham 10 acres
  • to son Richard 19 acres
  • to son George the remainder of the personal and real property. He is also to maintain Adam's wife Dorthy
  • son Richard to pay daughter Maria, wife of Harmanus Van Dusue?, 10 dollars
  • son George to pay daughter Margaret 15 dollars
  • to wife Dorthy bedding and bedstead
  • son George to pay debts and funeral expenses.3


His will was admitted to probate on 24 June 1826 at Montgomery County, New York.3
