Douglas Parker was born circa 1860 at Missouri.1 He was the son of Chrisman H Parker and Lucy (?).1
On 3 August 1870 Douglas Parker was enumerated in the household of Chrisman H Parker on the 1870 U. S. census for Brownsville Post Office, Elmwood Township, Saline County, Missouri as Douglas Parker, 10 years old, birthplace of Missouri. Could not write. Also enumerated in the household were Lucy (?), Alfred Parker, Jackson Parker, Anna Parker, Charles Parker, Clarence Parker and Kate Parker.1
