     Joseph Bearss was born circa 1734.2,1 He was the son of Josiah Bearss and Zerviah Newcomb.1

Joseph Bearss married Prudence Hurlbut on 16 October 1758 at New Fairfield, Fairfiled, Connecticut.3

Joseph Bearss died on 13 August 1818.2

Joseph Bearss was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield, Fairfiled County, Connecticut, Epitaph: In memory of / Joseph Bearss / who died Aug. 13, 1818 / aged 84 years.2
