S. census for Lost Creek Township, Vigo County, Indiana as Amanda Ladd, 13 years old, birthplace of Indiana. Also enumerated in the household were Sarah (?), Elizabeth Ladd, Leonard Ladd and William G Ladd.1
Amanda Ladd married Mathew D Grey on 4 September 1856 at Vigo County, Indiana.2
