Elizabeth Ladd was born circa 1826 at Indiana.1 She was the daughter of Noble Ladd and Sarah (?).1
On 2 October 1850 Elizabeth Ladd was enumerated in the household of Sarah (?) on the 1850 U. S. census for Lost Creek Township, Vigo County, Indiana as Elizabeth Ladd, 24 years old, birthplace of Indiana. Could not read or write. Also enumerated in the household were Mary G. Ladd.1
