     Robert Flint was born on 12 March 1742.1 He was the son of Robert Flint and Susanna Bauman.1

Robert Flint married Deborah Buys say 1774. Marriage date estimated as one calendar year before the birth year of the first child.2

Robert Flint was enumerated during 1790 on the 1790 U. S. census for Canajoharie, Montgomery, New York as head of family Robert Flint. Enumerated in this family were: 1 Free white males of 16 years old and upwards, including heads of families, 4 Free white males under 16 years old, 2 Free white females including heads of families, 1 Slave.3

Robert Flint wrote a will on 19 May 1802 at Canajoharie, Montgomery County, New York.
He bequeathed:
  • to beloved wife Deborah all personal estate and farm currentlyl living on except what is given to the children as long as she is a widow
  • to son William one year old celt now in his possession
  • to three sons William, Joshua, and George 200 acres in Harpers Patent
  • to three sons Samuel, David and James 45 acres in Delaney's Patent and farm currentlyl living on after wife decease or no longer widow
  • to son Robert 100 acres or 150 pounds from his brothers Samuel, David and James share
  • to daughter Elizabeth Flint one mlich cow, one hypher, one feather bed, one bedstead and bedding, one spinning wheel, one iron pot, six plates, knives and forks, and one Puter dish or platter
  • the remainder of personal estate after wife decease or no longer widow divided between all the children.4


Robert Flint died between 19 May 1802 and 8 November 1802.4

His will was admitted to probate on 8 November 1802 at Surrogates Court, Montgomery County, New York. Wills 1 242.4
