     Sophia Flint was born on 19 December 1837 at New York.1,2 She was the daughter of Alvah Flint and Elizabeth Cross.1

Sophia Flint was 4 years old, when her father, Alvah Flint, died on 20 December 1841.3,4

Sophia Flint lived on 15 December 1853 at Town of Sharon, Schoharie County, New York.5

Sophia Flint married Henry Emmons Ramsdell, son of John Ramsdell and Taseah Theresa Moore, on 3 April 1860 at Tama County, Iowa.6,7

On 14 July 1870 Sophia Flint was enumerated in the household of Henry Emmons Ramsdell on the 1870 U. S. census for Richland Township, Tama County, Iowa as Sophia Ramsdale, 32 years old, birthplace of New York, occupation of Keeping House. Also enumerated in the household were William Ramsdell and Elizabeth Cross.2

Sophia Flint died on 29 October 1937 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, at age 99.8
