Sarah Williams married William Nelson, son of Thomas Nelson and Elizabeth Thompson, on 17 February 1846 at Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois.2

S. census for Provo City Post Office, Provo City 1st Ward, Utah County, Utah Territory as Sarah Nelson, 56 years old, birthplace of New York, occupation of Keeping House. Also enumerated in the household were William Nelson, Sarah Elizabeth Nelson, Deborah Ellen Biggs and Thomas William Nelson.3
