     Leaborn M Barrett was born circa 1866 at Alabama.1 He was the son of George W Barrett and Nancy Green Treadaway.1

On 17 August 1870 Leaborn M Barrett was enumerated in the household of George W Barrett on the 1870 U. S. census for Eldridge Post Office, Township 15, Walker County, Alabama as Seaborn Barrett, 5 years old, birthplace of Georgia. Also enumerated in the household were Nancy Green Treadaway, Benjamin Barrett, David Barrett, Daniel Barrett and Ophelia Barrett.2

On 15 June 1880 Leaborn M Barrett was enumerated in the household of George W Barrett on the 1880 U. S. census for Townships 12 & 13 R 7 West (Beats 1 & 2), Walker County, Alabama as Leaborm M Barrett, 14 years old, Son, Single, birthplace of Alabama. Could not read. Could not write. Father born in Georgia. Mother born in North Carolina. Also enumerated in the household were Nancy Green Treadaway and Ophelia Barrett.1
