Jacob Pierson was born circa 1838 at Ohio.1 He was the son of William Mitchel Pierson and Leah Pierson.1

S. census for Riely Township, Butler County, Ohio as Jac Pierson, 12 years old, birthplace of Ohio Also enumerated in the household were Leah Pierson, William Pierson, Rebecca J Pierson, Pioneer Pierson, Martha E Pierson, Joseph Pierson and Amanda M Pierson.1
On 19 June 1860 Jacob Pierson was enumerated in the household of William Mitchel Pierson on the 1860 U. S. census for Riely Township, Butler County, Ohio as Jacob Pearson, 22 years old, birthplace of Ohio Also enumerated in the household were Leah Pierson, Pioneer Pierson, Martha E Pierson, Joseph Pierson, Amanda M Pierson and Jackson Garner.2
