Maria Sutton was born circa 1850 at Indiana.1 She was the daughter of E H Sutton and Laura (?).1
On 5 September 1850 Maria Sutton was enumerated in the household of E H Sutton on the 1850 U. S. census for Perry township, Miami County, Ohio as Maria Sutton, 1/2 years old, birthplace of Indiana. Also enumerated in the household were Laura (?), Azra? Sutton, Jane Sutherland, Cynthia Sutherland, Ezra Ash and Daniel Bearss Thurston.1
