     Margaret Flint was born on 4 July 1778. Handwritten note: Deaf and Dumb.1 She was the daughter of Adam Flint and Mary Elizabeth Horning.1

On 25 July 1850 Margaret Flint was enumerated in the household of Adam Flint Jr on the 1850 U. S. census for Canajoharie, Montgomery County, New York as Margaret Flint, 71 years old, birthplace of New York. Could not read or write. Enumerated as Deaf and Dumb Also enumerated in the household were Zilpha Demond, Levi Flint, Zilpha Flint, Hannah Phillips and Bejamin Sciptine.2

2 June 1855 Margaret Flint was enumerated with Levi Flint on the 1855 New York census for Canajoharie 2nd, Montgomery County as Peggy Flint, Aunt, 76 years old, birthplace of Montgomery County, 76 years in this city or town, over 21 csn't read or write, Deaf Mute Also enumerated in the household were Cornelia Jansen, Mary Harriet Flint, Benjamin Scripture, Bridget (?) and Zipha Green.3
