     Laura Belle Pierson was born on 10 October 1863 at Reily, Butler County, Ohio.1,2 She was the daughter of William Pierson and Jemima Arnold Goshorn.1

On 12 June 1880 Laura Belle Pierson was enumerated in the household of James Abernathy on the 1880 U. S. census for Seymour, Jackson County, Indiana as Laura Pierson, Step Daughter, Single, 16 years old, birthplace of Ohio, occupation of Printer. Also enumerated in the household were Jemima Arnold Goshorn, Ida Ella Pierson, Leona Wilmetta Pierson and Jane Wilson.3

Laura Belle Pierson married Harry Clay Monroe on 24 February 1881 at Seymour, Jackson County, Indiana.1,2

Laura Belle Pierson died on 16 June 1891 at Indianapolis, Indiana, at age 27.1,2
