Robert Neal was born circa 1842 at Tennessee. He is enumerated in the 1850 Census as being 18 years old. My guess is the what was meant was 8 years old.1 He was the son of Robert Neal and Hannah Dennis.1
On 21 September 1850 Robert Neal was enumerated in the household of Hannah Dennis on the 1850 U. S. census for District No 37, Hickory County, Missouri as Robert Neal, 18 years old, birthplace of Tennessee. Also enumerated in the household were John Neal, Richard Neal and Elizabeth Neal.1
