Within twenty-four hours after her son was injured seriously in an automobile accident, Mrs. Mabel Skinner, 2405 Vaga street, was called from his bedside at Parkland Hospital to Ada, Ok, where her husband F. E. Skinner, died Sunday night
The son J. C. Skinner, 13 was knocked down by a truck Saturday night while delivering for a drug store on his bicycle. He was bruised badly.
Funeral services fro Mr. Skinner, a Dallas real estate man, will be held at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence. The Rev. M. A. Read of Van Alstyne and Dr. Umphrey Lee, pastor of the Highland Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Burial Park. Members of the Keystone Lodge No. 1143, A. F. & A. M. will be in charge of services at the grave. He was a member of Hella Temple.
Surviving are his wife, three children, J. C. Skinner, Eugene Skinner, and Norma Skinner, all of Dallas; a brother, W. O. Skinner; his father, Bullen Skinner, and a sister, Mrs. Nora Sayers.
