     Della A Jones was born on 16 May 1873 at Missouri.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Jones and Hester Hinton.1

On 2 June 1880 Della A Jones was enumerated in the household of Thomas Jones on the 1880 U. S. census for Sedan Township, Chautauqua County, Kansas as Della A Jones, Daughter, Single, 7 years old, birthplace of Missouri. Also enumerated in the household were Hester Hinton, Dona Jones, Izonia E Jones and Charles E Jones.1

Della A Jones married John Riley Blackford on 19 July 1890.2

1 March 1895 Della A Jones was enumerated with John Riley Blackford on the 1895 Kansas census for Independence, Montgomery County as Della Blackford, age 22, born in Kansas Also enumerated in the household were Frank Blackford, Gilbert Blackford and Dona Jones.3

On 7 June 1900 Della A Jones was enumerated in the household of John Riley Blackford on the 1900 U. S. census for Independence, Montgomery County, Kansas as Della Blackford, Wife, Married for 9 years, born May 1873, 27 years old, birthplace of Missouri, mother of 2 children 2 of which were still alive. Also enumerated in the household were Frank Blackford and Gilbert Blackford.4

Della A Jones died on 28 September 1930 at age 57.2
