Township 4 South, Range 16 described as beginning at the corner of lands owned by James McCauley, Rachel See, and Christian Long in the center of the Columbus and Sandusky Turnpike road, then with road 13 degrees East of North 77 poles to the corner of the land owned by Alexander Kirkpatrick, then 86 degrees South of East 1.5 poles, then North 8 poles to the section line, then East 113 poles to the section line, then South 80 poles, then West 173 poles to the beginning, containing 80 Acres. Filed on the 19 May 1835 and recorded on 20 May 1835. Witnessed by James Young and Elias Spurgeon.1
