Nancy Curtis was born about 1761 in MarylandG Dyer in Steinseiffer family, Germany to America say she was born c 1760 in Virginia. The 1850 Census says c 1770 in Maryland. The grave marker indicates she was 90 when she died so I have adjusted her birth to reflect that age.1,2,3

Nancy Curtis married John Henry Stonecypher, son of Johann Heinrich Stonecypher, about 1783 in Wilkes County, North CarolinaG.1

On 4 October 1850 Nancy Curtis was enumerated in the household of John Henry Stonecypher on the 1850 U. S. census for District No 32, Franklin County, GeorgiaG, as Nancy Stonecypher, 80 years old, birthplace of Maryland. Also enumerated in the household were Cathatin Hamilton and Nancy Stonecypher.2

On 5 March 1851 in Franklin County, GeorgiaG, Nancy Stonecypher, widow of John Stonecypher, applied for the balance of his Revolutionary War pension from the last payment on 4 September 1850 until his death on 16 December 1850.4

Nancy Curtis died on 12 July 1851 in Franklin County, GeorgiaG, She was still living on 05 Mar 1851 when she applied for her husband's final pension payment. If she had been still living by 19 Jan 1852 she would have received a share of her husband's estate. That she died in Franklin county is a guess but a safe one in my opinion.5,4,3
